Baptism

If your child needs the Sacrament of Baptism, please call the parish office to set up a time for the Baptism preparation class.

"Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian Life, the gateway to life in the spirit, and the door which gives access to other sacraments” (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1213).

First Communion & Reconciliation

First Communion & Reconciliation is normally celebrated when a child is in second grade. If you have a child that needs to prepare for these Sacraments, please contact the Coordinator of Religious Education or the Principal.

It is Diocesan policy that First Penance be received before First Communion. The parish group First Communion is held in January.

Confirmation

Confirmation is normally celebrated in 8th grade. If you have a child that needs to prepare for this Sacrament, please contact the Coordinator of Religious Education.

Major components for The Sacrament of Confirmation are: Enrolled in Religious Education, retreat, reports, attend weekly Mass, pick a sponsor, and service.

“The reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace” (CCC 1285).
